Principal Features
N08800 (Incoloy 800/NS111), N08810 (Incoloy 800H/NS112), N08811 (Incoloy 800HT) are three variants of a nickel-iron-chromium alloy which combines good corrosion and creep resistance. They can resist high temperature oxidation. They are the first choice for an upgrade from the 300 series stainless steels when improved performance or strength at temperature is required.They are identical except for the higher level of carbon (0.05 to 0.10 percent) in Alloy 800H, and the addition of up to 1.00 percent aluminum + titanium in N08811. N08811 needs high-temperature anneal than N08800. N08800 is normally used in this service at temperatures to approximately 1100°F (593°C). N08810, N08811 are normally used above approximately 1100°F (593°C),

 

where resistance to creep and rupture is required. For higher ASME Boiler and Pressure Code design values, consider N08811.

Main Application

Heat treating equipment and fixtures; sheathing for electric resistance alloy tubular heating elements; used in petrochemical equipment for heat exchangers, such as in ethylene or vinyl chloride production, chemical and petrochemical processing equipment; power generation, thermal processing fixtures; steel production.
